The Public opt-out registry (RPO – Registro pubblico delle opposizioni) is a service designed to protect businesses and individuals who have numbers listed in public telephone directories and decide not to receive commercial calls anymore. Operators intending to start their telemarketing structure must register with the system and communicate the list of numbers they intend to contact to avoid sanctions as provided
by the Privacy Code.

The platform is set up to exclude registered members detected from previous cleanings and to communicate to the registry the list of numbers to be contacted in the following 15 days.
